The stabbing occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Friday, when Kane, driving a black 2024 Ford F-150, forced another driver onto the northbound shoulder of state Route 67, located north of Slaughterhouse Canyon Road. A confrontation ensued between the two drivers, leading to both exiting their vehicles. During this altercation, Kane produced a knife and repeatedly stabbed the other driver before fleeing the scene in his truck.
The other driver, who was traveling in a gray 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, remained at the scene and was later transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The identity and age of the injured driver have not been disclosed by authorities.
Noah Kane was located and arrested around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday in Poway by the California Highway Patrol’s Border Division Major Crimes Unit. After his arrest, he was booked into the San Diego County Jail. Information regarding Kane’s age was not immediately available.
