SDSU Achieves Bowl Eligibility with Commanding Victory

San Diego State University (SDSU) achieved bowl eligibility for the first time since 2022, following a commanding shutout victory over Fresno State. The win not only marked the Aztecs’ sixth victory of the 2025 season but also improved their overall record to 6-1 and maintained an undefeated conference record of 3-0.

SDSU’s victory was a significant milestone, as it represents the 14th time the Aztecs have qualified for a postseason bowl game since 2010. This achievement stands out even more when juxtaposed with their performance last season, where they ended with a disappointing record of 3-9. The Aztecs have participated in 12 bowl games in the last decade, placing them among the top 20 teams nationally in terms of bowl appearances.
