San Diego Comic-Con will feature a special panel for the beloved animated series ‘Phineas and Ferb,’ marking its first appearance in over a decade. On July 25, creators and cast members will discuss the show and reveal a new animated series. Fans can expect announcements, merchandise, and fun activities during the event, including a chance to win exclusive Funko Pops. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume for prizes and can meet the creators at the Disney booth afterward.
San Diego will host a highly anticipated panel for the animated series “Phineas and Ferb” at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, marking the first time in over a decade that the show has been featured in this capacity. The panel is scheduled for Friday, July 25, at 11 a.m. PT in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. Fans of the beloved series can expect a variety of exciting announcements, exclusive sneak peeks, and surprises related to the show.
Creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh will join original cast members Vincent Martella (Phineas), David Errigo Jr. (Ferb), Ashley Tisdale (Candace), Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus), and Alyson Stoner (Isabella) for the panel discussion. Michael Schneider from Variety will moderate the event. The panel will not only look back at the series’ past successes but will also introduce a new animated short series titled “Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb.”
This new series will feature Phineas and Ferb interviewing real-life celebrities in the show’s distinctive animation style, with Kylie Cantrall from “Descendants: The Rise of Red” scheduled as the first guest star. Attendees can also look forward to engaging activities, including chances to win exclusive merchandise and interact with fan-favorite characters.
Fans attending the panel are encouraged to come in costume, as a special prize will be awarded to one cosplayer who will receive a full set of Phineas and Ferb Funko Pops before they are released to the public in the fall. After the panel, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to meet with the show’s creators and cast members at the Disney Entertainment Television Booth #4229, which can be accessed through an Online Exclusives Portal.
In addition to the panel and meet-and-greet opportunities, fans can collect an exclusive poster available at the booth while supplies last. For those looking for a fun and memorable experience, a pop-up photo opportunity will be available just outside the main hall, near the Omni Hotel. Attendees can participate in a life-sized “Whack-A-Pest” game designed in the style of Phineas and Ferb, allowing for unique photo opportunities. This photo experience will be running from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27.
