San Diego will come alive with a variety of concerts and events from July 11 to July 13, 2025, featuring a mix of well-known artists and local talent. The lineup includes the Happy Together tour, the Pacific Records Fest, a celebration in honor of late drummer Kevin Koch, and the start of the 2025 Concerts on the Green music series.
The festivities kick off on July 11 with the Happy Together Tour at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay. The show, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will feature artists from the 1960s, including The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Vogues, and The Cowsills. Former San Diegan Gary Puckett is anticipated to draw significant crowd interest. The event promises to be a nostalgic throwback to an iconic musical era, with tickets priced at $84 each.
Simultaneously, the band Yachtley Crew, known for its revival of 1970s soft rock, will perform at the Epstein Family Amphitheater at 8 p.m. The band’s repertoire includes both popular hits from the 1970s as well as original compositions. Tickets for the Yachtley Crew performance range from $35 to $65.
On the same day, there will also be a celebration at Humphreys Backstage Live at 5 p.m. in honor of Kevin Koch, the late drummer and founding member of the smooth jazz band Fattburger. The tribute will feature an all-star lineup performing to celebrate Koch’s contributions to music. Fattburger has been active since 1986 and has made a lasting impact on the smooth jazz scene.
As the weekend continues, July 13 will see the launch of the 2025 Concerts on the Green music series at Kate Sessions Park, starting at 4 p.m. The opening event will be the Pacific Records Fest, showcasing six talented San Diego-based artists: Sandollar (reggae), The Tourmaliners (surf rock), Kela Sako (singer), Slack Key Ohana (Hawaiian music), Shane Hall (blues), and Kristina Bennett (meditative music).
