San Diego – Paramount+ has announced its participation in the 2025 San Diego Comic-Con, confirming the return of “The Lodge,” an interactive and immersive experience that combines elements from various popular fandoms. Scheduled to take place from July 23 to July 27, 2025, this year’s iteration will feature distinct experiences, with tickets now available for those looking to participate.
“The Lodge” will offer 50-minute time slots to attendees, allowing them to immerse themselves in different themed areas that cater to various interests and preferences. This year, the event will kick off a promotional tour with several stops leading up to Comic-Con, including locations such as Lake Tahoe from February 28 to March 2, SXSW in Austin from March 7 to 10, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado from March 21 to 25.
Each stop on the tour will incorporate regional touches that adapt the “Lodge” experience to the local culture, ensuring that visitors will have unique encounters at each location. The San Diego Comic-Con edition of “The Lodge” promises several confirmed experiences, including:
It is important to note that not all of these experiences may be available during the Comic-Con event, as specific details will be revealed closer to the date. Additionally, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is expected to feature its own immersive experiences, hinting at a diverse lineup of attractions available to participants.
At present, reservations for “The Lodge” have not yet opened, so potential visitors are encouraged to stay informed for updates. A review of the previous year’s offsite experience can provide insights into what attendees might expect this time around.
The convention itself is run independently, with the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog advising that it is not associated with Comic-Con International, which owns the registered trademark for SDCC.
In addition to the immersive experiences, other exhibitors are preparing for the 2025 Comic-Con. Artist Scott Campbell, known as Scott C., will be making an appearance at Gallery Nucleus booth #2015, where he is set to debut a new print titled “Dinosaur Buddies”. Furthermore, the San Diego Comic-Con Museum is offering a special “Legend” membership, priced at $1,900, which will provide access to Comic-Con 2025 along with additional benefits and enhanced membership status.
Membership sales for Comic-Con 2025 will close on July 27 at noon, which will be an important date for fans looking to secure their participation in the event. Additionally, Marvel Studios will introduce the Thunderbolts Treatz Truck during the convention dates, from July 24 to 27, offering free ice cream, exclusive merchandise, and photo opportunities to attendees.
Returning to the convention, Dark Horse Comics will present exclusive comics and collectibles at booth #2615, where visitors can find unique items, including a limited 40-page preview manga titled “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS Chapter 1”, which will also be available at Anime Expo.
