Looking ahead, Open Registration for Comic-Con 2025 is scheduled to start on November 23, 2024, which is a shift from the previously set date of October 26. Those who purchased badges during the earlier halted Open Registration will maintain their purchases, ensuring they are not left out in future years.

In order to register, participants must possess a valid Member ID, which can be created before the registration sale begins. Badges for single days at Comic-Con will cost between $60 to $80, depending on the specific day, with additional handling fees applicable.

Registration Process

To secure a badge, attendees are advised to enter the waiting room between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM PT on registration day. It is important to note that early arrival in the waiting room does not grant any advantage in the selection process. For those sharing a device, multiple users should log in using different browsers.

Once placed in the waiting room, members will be randomly selected to enter the registration phase for a span of 15 minutes. During this time, they can register for themselves and up to two additional individuals, provided that the correct Member IDs are entered. Payments will be processed within 72 hours post-registration, with an emphasis on preventing badge fraud. Therefore, sharing registration links or details is strongly discouraged.

Payment and Shipping Information

Accepted payment methods for badges include VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. However, it is crucial to note that payment splitting is not permitted during the registration process. Badges will be mailed to the address listed in the Member ID account, and international attendees may select an onsite pickup option, providing further convenience.

With these updates, attendees and prospective participants should prepare accordingly for the upcoming conventions, keeping track of badges, registration dates, and safety measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at San Diego Comic-Con.
