New Restaurants and Concepts Opening Soon

Several new dining establishments are anticipated to make their debut across the county:

  • Treehouse: Located in Sorrento Valley, this eatery presents a unique “choose-your-own-adventure menu” alongside a café serving local pastries and coffee. The venue is situated at 9945 Pacific Heights Blvd, Suite 200, and will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sonny’s: Found in University Heights, Sonny’s promises a nostalgic setting featuring sourdough pies and Italian-American classics. The restaurant is located at 1728 Madison Ave.
  • Odie’s Pizza Co.: Slated to open on May 22 in Oceanside, Odie’s specializes in New York and Sicilian-style sourdough pies, accompanied by a selection of local beers. The location is 121 N. Cleveland St.
  • Bosforo: Normal Heights will welcome the first full-scale Meyhane-style Turkish bar and restaurant in Southern California. Bosforo will serve mezze and wood-fired kebabs at 3201 Adams Ave, with its opening occurring soon.
  • Lana: This coastal eatery will focus on California cuisine and incorporates modern and vintage design elements. Lana is set to open in June 2025 at 437 S Hwy 101 Suite 601 in Solana Beach.
  • The Baby Grand: A boutique hotel renovation in Coronado will feature 31 rooms and three distinctive dining experiences, including a champagne bar. The hotel is located at 1315 Orange Ave and is expected to open in summer 2025.
  • Madi: This popular brunch spot is expanding to Pacific Beach with a new location at 910 Grand Ave, anticipated to open in July 2025.
